Give visitors a reason to keep walking.

Self-guided walking tours and seasonal quests that move people past the main strip, through the murals and side streets, and into the partner businesses you promote. Live in weeks, not after a year-long app project.

Everything a visitor map does, minus the reprints.

A printed map or a custom app was supposed to move visitors around your destination. Roamli does the same job without the print run or the year-long build, and it updates the day a stop changes.

The jobThe old wayWith Roamli
Launching a tour A custom app, a year out Built in the portal, shared the same week
Keeping it current Reprinting thousands of brochures Edit a stop, and the next visitor sees it
Spreading visitors out Everyone at the same landmark Points on side streets, murals and nearby shops
Showing partners value A logo on a map A challenge at their door, with a count
Rewards A coupon in the brochure Prizes redeemed at partner counters, and counted
Fresh content One photographer, one afternoon Every visitor photo and video in one zip

A story to follow, a hunt to solve, or a list to crack.

Same builder, same player. Pick the shape that fits your place.

Walking Tour

A set path, stop to stop, with an optional line connecting them on the map. Made for history walks, art trails, campus tours and anything with a story to tell in order.

Scavenger Hunt

Every stop in play at once, in any order. Hunts show a search zone instead of the exact spot, so teams still have to look, and the fastest planners win.

List Only

No map needed. The challenge list is the whole game, so it works anywhere: across a city, around a campus, or through every floor of your office.

Built for the places visitors don't find on their own.

Spread visitors past the landmark everyone already knows, put the tour everywhere they look, and hand your partners the numbers.

Walk visitors past the main strip.

Put stops where you want foot traffic: the mural on the side street, the museum people skip, the shop that opened last spring. Each stop asks for a photo, a short video or an answer only someone standing there would know, so visitors look up from their phones and notice the place they came to see. SUMC's summit tour, shown here, walked visitors past 13 landmarks along the river and the lake.

  • As many tours as you like
  • Tags like neighborhood or theme, so visitors can filter the map
  • Feature your other tours inside each one
  • "No location" challenges for trivia on the way

The same tour's stop list: Merchandise Mart, Marina City, the Wrigley Building and more
The National Shared Mobility Summit Walking Tour's About page in the Roamli player, showing the event code SUMC2023

One code at every place visitors already look.

Every tour gets one link, one QR code and a Player Guide page that shows visitors how to play, ready for a hotel front desk, a visitor center counter, a storefront window or a button on your own website. Visitors type the code or scan it and start walking. Anyone can still take SUMC's summit walking tour of Chicago landmarks with the code SUMC2023.

  • One link, one QR code, one event code
  • A Player Guide page built automatically for every tour
  • Plays in the phone's browser, with nothing to install
  • Your destination's logo and colors

Show every partner what the tour sent their way.

Your dashboard shows every visitor who played, their points and submissions, and how many submissions each stop received, so each partner can see how many visitors completed the challenge at their door. Reward redemptions are counted too. When the season wraps, download every photo and video in one zip: a folder of visitor-made content for your social channels and your next visitor guide.

  • Visitor table: points, submissions, approved and in review
  • Submissions per stop, sortable
  • Redemption counts for every partner reward
  • A zip of every photo and video, captions included

Rewards: prizes players claim at a real counter.

Points keep score. Rewards give people a reason to walk somewhere, go inside, and come back. Here is one reward from the Roamli Scramble in Chicago, from the moment a shop offered it to the moment it was redeemed.

  1. A local business offers a prize.

Ava's Italian Ice put up $2 off an Italian ice and a BOGO flight, only in person. You add a reward once to your library and reuse it across events.

    • A code, a link or a personal message
    • One shared code, or a pool of unique codes imported from a spreadsheet
    • A cap on how many players can earn it
The reward board in the Roamli player: offers from Ava's Italian Ice, Elevate Coffee, Lock Chicago and Escape Artistry, each with a progress bar
  2. Players see it, and go after it.

Every reward shows on the event's reward board with a progress bar, so players know exactly what they're playing for and how close they are. A prize at the ice cream shop turns its challenges into the ones everyone wants to finish next.

  3. It unlocks on the spot.

The moment a player hits the goal, the reward unlocks automatically, with a scratch-off ticket to reveal the prize. Nobody waits for a raffle weeks later. Every reward they earn stays in My Rewards, across every event.

  4. They walk in and claim it.

The player shows their phone at the counter and staff tap Redeem. It's stamped with the date, so every prize is used exactly once. Nothing to install at the register, and no paper to collect.

  5. You see exactly what it drove.

Each reward shows how many were claimed, allocated and still free, and warns you before a code pool runs dry. Those redemption counts are real visits to a real business, a number you can hand to a sponsor or a member.

Four ways to unlock a reward

  • A points total Reach 100 points and unlock $5 off at any participating shop.
  • Challenges approved Get 10 shop challenges approved and win a free hot chocolate.
  • A specific stop Finish the bookstore challenge and get a bookmark and 10% off.
  • A leaderboard finish The top 3 teams win gift cards donated by local businesses.

Supercharge your event.

Add one prize and the whole game changes, for the people playing and for you.

For players

  • Real stakesA prize on the line turns a stroll into a race.
  • The unlock momentThe reward pops up on the spot, with a scratch-off reveal.
  • Something to take homeA free scoop, a discount or a gift card, saved in My Rewards.

For your event

  • Foot trafficPrizes are claimed at the counter, so players step inside.
  • Proof for sponsorsEvery redemption is a visit you can count.
  • Repeat visitsRewards bring players back through your doors.

Real neighborhoods. Real visitors.

We're so excited to have people come out and explore downtown Dayton businesses, landmarks, and more during the Downtown Adventure. It's a chance for people to come out and rediscover their favorite spots throughout the city or explore new businesses and sights that have opened since their last visit.

Why destination tours run better on Roamli.

Everything above adds up to a tour that works harder than a printed map.

A bronze Legacy Walk plaque mounted on a rainbow pylon along Halsted Street
  1. Visitors past the main strip

Points on the side streets, the murals and the shop a block over pull visitors past the landmark, like the 13 stops SUMC's tour set along the river and lake.

  2. One code, anywhere visitors look

One link and QR code for the hotel desk, the visitor center and a storefront window, with nothing to install.

  3. Numbers every partner can see

Submissions per stop and reward redemption counts show each partner what the tour sent their way.

  4. A tour that runs itself

Northalsted's 57-stop art walk plays any day of the year with no guide to schedule, and an edited stop reaches the next visitor.

A year of reasons to visit.

Several of these started as real Roamli tours. Build one, then keep the best stops for the next.

Public art walk

Murals, sculptures and installations, each with a story and a photo challenge. Northalsted's Pride tour covers murals, rainbow crosswalks and the Legacy Walk.

A trail through the independents: one stop per coffee shop or taproom, a trivia question at each, and a partner reward at the end.

From a list of places to a tour people play.

Hands-on or hands-off. Your team can build it in the portal, or ours can build it with you.

  1. Step 1

    Kickoff call

We talk through your goals, your partners and your season. Bring a list of places; a spreadsheet is fine.

  2. Step 2

    Build the tour

Drop stops on the map yourself, or hand it to us. With The Roamli Touch, our team writes the stops and sets up the rewards your partners offer.

  3. Step 3

    Test walk & launch

Walk it once, fix what's off, then share the link and QR code. Link it from your website and hand partners a poster.

  4. All season

    Run the season

Review submissions, update stops as things change, and download visitor photos for your channels.
