A GooseChase alternative built around real places.

GooseChase hands your players a list of missions. Roamli puts every challenge on a map of real streets and storefronts, sends players through the door with prizes they redeem at the counter, and covers every event you run on one flat plan. And if you'd rather not build it yourself, our team will.

Roamli and GooseChase at a glance.

Both run photo-and-answer challenges on a phone. The differences are in what the game is built around, what players win, and how you pay.

What you get with Roamli.

On game day

  • Built on a map of real placesEvery challenge is a stop on a map. Hunts show search zones rather than exact pins, walking tours draw the route, and you can unlock stops one at a time.
  • Prizes redeemed at a real counterRewards unlock automatically, and a staff member taps Redeem on the player's phone so each prize is used once. That is how a hunt sends people through a shop door.
  • Proof you can shareEvery stop is completed with a photo, a short video or an answer your team reviews, so the event produces content, not just check-ins.

For your organization

  • A team that will build it with youBook The Roamli Touch for challenge writing, map design, setup and launch, with a point person through game day. Creator Pro includes event creation support too.
  • Priced for repeat programsOne plan covers every event: monthly onboarding groups, a summer series, a holiday stroll. No headcount tiers.
  • A recap you can useDownload every photo and video from an event in one zip, captions included, for your newsletter, sponsors or board.

The place is the point.

In Roamli, players open a map before they open a to-do list. Every challenge lives at a real location, so the hunt pulls people down the block, into the park and past the storefronts you care about. The Northalsted Business Alliance's #WalkWithPride art tour puts 57 stops along Halsted Street, from rainbow crosswalks to Legacy Walk plaques.

  • Two formats: a free-roaming scavenger hunt or a guided walking tour
  • Search zones keep hunts challenging; exact pins for tours
  • Stops that unlock one at a time, or a list-only mode with no map
  • Challenges that work from anywhere, for riddles between stops

Three ways to play the same map.

Walking Tour

A set path, stop to stop, with an optional line connecting them on the map. Made for history walks, art trails, campus tours and anything with a story to tell in order.

Scavenger Hunt

Every stop in play at once, in any order. Hunts show a search zone instead of the exact spot, so teams still have to look, and the fastest planners win.

List Only

No map needed. The challenge list is the whole game, so it works anywhere: across a city, around a campus, or through every floor of your office.

Rewards: prizes players claim at a real counter.

Points keep score. Rewards give people a reason to walk somewhere, go inside, and come back. Here is one reward from the Roamli Scramble in Chicago, from the moment a shop offered it to the moment it was redeemed.

  1. A local business offers a prize.

Ava's Italian Ice put up $2 off an Italian ice and a BOGO flight, only in person. You add a reward once to your library and reuse it across events.

    • A code, a link or a personal message
    • One shared code, or a pool of unique codes imported from a spreadsheet
    • A cap on how many players can earn it
The reward board in the Roamli player: offers from Ava's Italian Ice, Elevate Coffee, Lock Chicago and Escape Artistry, each with a progress bar
  2. Players see it, and go after it.

Every reward shows on the event's reward board with a progress bar, so players know exactly what they're playing for and how close they are. A prize at the ice cream shop turns its challenges into the ones everyone wants to finish next.

  3. It unlocks on the spot.

The moment a player hits the goal, the reward unlocks automatically, with a scratch-off ticket to reveal the prize. Nobody waits for a raffle weeks later. Every reward they earn stays in My Rewards, across every event.

  4. They walk in and claim it.

The player shows their phone at the counter and staff tap Redeem. It's stamped with the date, so every prize is used exactly once. Nothing to install at the register, and no paper to collect.

  5. You see exactly what it drove.

Each reward shows how many were claimed, allocated and still free, and warns you before a code pool runs dry. Those redemption counts are real visits to a real business, a number you can hand to a sponsor or a member.

Four ways to unlock a reward

  • A points total Reach 100 points and unlock $5 off at any participating shop.
  • Challenges approved Get 10 shop challenges approved and win a free hot chocolate.
  • A specific stop Finish the bookstore challenge and get a bookmark and 10% off.
  • A leaderboard finish The top 3 teams win gift cards donated by local businesses.

Supercharge your event.

Add one prize and the whole game changes, for the people playing and for you.

For players

  • Real stakesA prize on the line turns a stroll into a race.
  • The unlock momentThe reward pops up on the spot, with a scratch-off reveal.
  • Something to take homeA free scoop, a discount or a gift card, saved in My Rewards.

For your event

  • Foot trafficPrizes are claimed at the counter, so players step inside.
