Gildre & Roamli Partnership Announcement

Welcome back to the next post in our Roamli blog series - we hope everyone’s having a fantastic summer! At Roamli we’re actively partnering with great organizations throughout various industries including Non-Profits, Chamber of Commerce’s, Tourism Bureaus, Community Groups, and more. We’re excited to share a recent partnership with the Entrepreneurial Community, Gildre.

Gildre is a dedicated membership community for innovators, builders, and creators that encourages creativity and exploration. There were a lot of synergies between our core values which made sense to establish a unique partnership. Their core principles revolve around the concepts of “Community for All”, and “Meaningful Connections” which is exactly what we aim to achieve through Roamli.

When we first started Roamli, our mission was to find a way for local communities to connect through interactive experiences such as Scavenger Hunts, Walking Tours, and more. This wasn’t exclusive to outdoor experiences however as it’s been amazing getting to work with conferences, trade shows, and other phenomenal events. Connectivity is at the core of what Roamli delivers and there are so many ways to interact with and support your community.

As remote-work continues to expand, it’s more important than ever to ensure companies and organizations can establish a strong sense of community virtually. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and other video platforms might be efficient for hitting specific project-KPI’s but creates a void in terms of meaningful connections between team members.

Creating a sense of community in a remote-only company is paramount for fostering collaboration, engagement, and overall success. In a virtual work environment, employees may be geographically dispersed, which can lead to feelings of isolation and disconnection. However, building a strong community can mitigate these challenges and yield numerous benefits.

A cohesive community promotes effective communication and teamwork. When employees feel a sense of belonging and camaraderie, they are more likely to collaborate openly, share ideas, and support one another, leading to improved productivity and problem-solving. It also enhances employee well-being and reduces feelings of isolation. By facilitating social interactions, remote workers can combat the potential negative effects of loneliness, stress, and burnout, thereby improving mental health and job satisfaction.

Gildre is a fully-digital community which spans various countries and continents across the globe. It’s impressive seeing the great engagement established through their organization and Roamli aims to further support that vision with our interactive experiences.
